If you want to use my software, you will need:
An astronomical CCD camera form the company SBIG ( SBIG ), a computer and a telescope or an objective.
After downloading a program, please tell me about your experiences with it. It may take some time to get familiar with drift scan imaging. I recommend to read my web page: drift scan imaging and the help files (and some of the web sides from the “Links ” page). You may have to do some research. You can not expect, that everything works “right out of the box”.

WinScan 2.33, a program to take drift scan images: WinScan (1.8 MB, zip file )

Description of WinScan:
Operation System: Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, NT, XP, Vista
System: Pentium or compatible processor
(problems when using a "Speed Step" processor(laptops))
Supported cameras: SBIG CCD cameras, parallel port, USB, Ethernet
(serial port is not supported)
File Format: FITS file format or SBIG file format.
Features: drift scan images , stare mode images, partial tdi images,
fast scan, sub array, speckle, fast focus.
supports GPS receiver's for timing (NEMA output)


ViewScan(1.01), a program (Win 95,98,ME, 2000, NT, XP) to view drift scan images: ViewScan (1.5 MB)

Description of ViewScan:
Operation System: Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, NT, XP
System: Pentium or compatible processor
File Format: Reads: Fits file format or SBIG file format.
File Format: Writes: Fits, SBIG, jpg, png or bmp file format.
Features: View images, slice images, astrometry
